Location Based Media
(LBM) are local communication media that are functionally bound to a location. The location binding of location-based media does not necessarily refer to the media content that can be directly uploaded to the users ' mobile devices. Since location tracking or other positioning methods such as WLAN Positioning System (WPS) or RFID can be used to determine location directly and in real time, the media content can be injected according to location and trigger real social interactions among users. The content can relate to the geographical, historical and cultural significance of the location as well as to the cognitive interaction of the viewer.
