liteware

Liteware is one of many variants with which freely available software can be tested. Comparable to Expireware or Demoware.

It is a lite version of a freeware or shareware with limited functionality. The potential user is supposed to try out the software, but cannot use it to its full extent. If the potential user is convinced of the functionality, he can license the full version. He will then be supplied with the missing functionalities.
