Most Significant Bit (MSB) and Least Significant Bit (LSB)

The least significant bit (LSB) is the bit in a group of related bits, e.g. a byte, that has the lowest significance in the binary place value system. Least significant bytes are also referred to as byte reversals. The opposite of the Least Significant Bit (LSB) is the Most Significant Bit( MSB), the bit with the highest significance.
