lean management

Lean management is an organizational concept that optimizes processes for project development. The concept is based on lean management in which the waste of resources is kept as low as possible and processes are harmonized.

Lean management is characterized by flat hierarchies, decentralization and a high degree of personal responsibility of the employees or the development teams, by short decision-making processes and by self-organizing teams whose work knows no or only few hierarchical guidelines and controls. The lean organizational forms are also expressed in the Lean Organization, in which the internal hierarchical levels are flattened and partially removed.

The goals of lean management are directed at internal processes. It is about eliminating redundant activities, streamlining processes, improving value creation and increasing efficiency.
