key generation key (encryption) (KGK)

In key management, there are keys from which other keys are generated or other keys are encrypted. Key Generation Keys (KGK) are master keys from which other keys are derived in symmetric encryption. Keys that are used to encrypt other keys are called Key Encryption Keys( KEK).
