Jughead is an information search program forGopher servers from the 1990s that searches Gopher menus similar to Veronica. Unlike Veronica, Jughead worked only on a regional basis, such as all the gopher servers at a university. In many cases, limiting the search to a few gopers yielded better results faster than with Veronica.

Jughead is a kind of precursor of the World Wide Web(WWW) and one of several gopher search engines.
