international automotive task force (IATF)

The International AutomotiveTask Force (IATF) is an ad hoc group of automotive manufacturers and their trade associations that aims to provide the automotive industry with improved quality products. To this end, the IATF has drawn up basic quality requirements for the supplier industry.

IATF members include BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Fiat, Ford Motor Company, General Motors and Opel, PSA Peugeot-Citroen, Renault SA and Volkswagen, as well as the national associations, such as the VDA for Germany.
