internal intercept function (LI) (IIF)

In thearchitecture ofLawful Interception systems, there are three critical elements that support Lawful Interception( LI). These are the Internal Intercept Function (IIF), the Mediation Function( MF), and the Administration Function( ADMF).

The Internal Intercept Function (IIF) resides in the network nodes and is responsible for generating the Intercept Related Information (IRI) and the Content of Communication( CC).
