identity based encryption (IBE)

As the name Identity Based Encryption (IBE) indicates, IBE encryption is an encryption based on the identity of the user.

IBE encryption does not use a cryptic numeric key for encryption, but the identity of a recipient. This has the advantage that the recipient does not have to remember a long numerical code, but can use an agreed identity feature such as his date of birth, telephone number or e-mail address as a public key.

With this technique, in which the message is encrypted with an identity, there is no need for key management.
