A Home Public Mobile Network (HPMN) is a term used in roaming. It is the mobile network in which subscriber is registered and in which his Home Location Register( HLR) is located. In contrast to the HPMN, which characterizes the stationary location, is the VPMN, which stands for the visitor location.
