high contrast addressing (LCD-Display) (HCA)

High Contrast Addressing(HCA) is a driver technology for LCD displays.

HCA technology enables a higher refresh rate and simultaneous driving of multiple lines. Therefore, HCA technology is characterized by shorter response times of LCD cells, improved contrast ratio, which is over 50:1. The latter is less than 100 ms and is due to the multi- line addressing.

The brightness and luminance is higher than that of LCD displays and is over 200 cd/m2. LCA technology is used in laptops, handhelds, digital cameras and cell phones.
