hand recognition
Hand recognition is one of the oldest biometric authentication methods. Compared to fingerprint recognition, it has the advantage that it offers a relatively high level of security even with dirty or injured hands.
Hand recognition is based on three-dimensional hand models. Hand geometry acquisition involves measuring the shape of the hand and the shape of the fingers, their thickness, width and length. Scanning the hand shape requires three-dimensional scanning.
In addition to hand shape evaluation, there is also hand vein recognition.
