glue code

Glue code or binding code is a connecting code, which is used to connect separate and incompatible program parts with regard to their compatibility and interoperability.

When connecting code, the source code is not affected in any way or its functionality is not changed. Glue codes can be written in the same programming language as the software components, but they can also be implemented in a scripting language such as JavaScript, PerlPython or VBScript.
