frame interline transfer CCD (FIT-CCD)
Frame Interline Transfer CCD( FIT-CCD) is one of several methods for reading out the charge states of a CCD sensor. In general, the aim is to read out the charge states from the small potential wells in such a way that a new image can be taken after the shortest possible time.
The Frame Interline Transfer method is a combination of Frame Transfer CCD( FT-CCD) and Interline Transfer CCD( IT-CCD). The CCD sensors working according to this method are extremely complex and relatively expensive.
In addition to the Frame Interline Transfer CCD (FIT-CCD), there are also Frame Transfer CCD (FT-CCD), Interline Transfer CCD (IT-CCD) and Full Frame CCD( FF-CCD).
