form feed (control character) (FF)
The format control character (FE4) Form Feed( FF) is used to move the writing device to a predetermined position of the next form.
The Form Feed command is used to output a sheet of paper from the printer. For display devices, the control character is used to clear the screen.
The FF control character occupies the position 0C (hex) resp. 012 (dec.) in the ASCII character set.
