flash EEPROM (FEEPROM)

A Flash EEPROM (FEEPROM) is an electrically erasable memory chip with a short access time.

A Flash EEPROM is a read-only memory that is electrically erasable and programmable. Erasure is performed on a block-by-block basis or over the entire array. The individual memory blocks of the FEEPROM can be completely different in size. The storage capacity of the individual blocks can range from a single address to the entire memory array.
