Flaming is Internet jargon for a malicious, often personal or even insulting attack on the author of an article in a newsgroup, in discussion forums or even when writing e-mails. Flaming are verbal excesses that violate netiquette and should be refrained from. Discussion participants who insult others may be excluded from the discussion forums.
