fiber to the amplifier (FTTA)

FTTA stands for Fiber to the Amplifier and also for Fiber to the Antenna. In both techniques it is a fiber optic connection technology. In the case of the amplifier technology, the optical fiber is routed to the last amplifier. This technique is also known as Fiber to the Last Amplifier (FTTLA). From the last amplifier, the subscriber connection is made via copper twisted pairs.
