false drop

False drops are search results that are listed on the search engine results pages( SERP) but are irrelevant in terms of the result, are in the wrong context and have no semantic reference to the search term.

This can happen when the result pages contain the keyword, but it is not in the right context. False drops can be search results that result from a possible duplication or ambiguity of the search word, that are in a completely different context, or that lead to a web page that has already been removed. False drops also include result pages that are due to cloaking.
