face to face (F2F)

Face-to-face communication (F2F), is direct human-to-human communication without technical facilities.

Face-to-face is the personal conversation between communication partners in which they are physically present. This most classic of all types of communication involves speaking and listening. The prerequisite for F2F communication is that the communication partners speak the same language and that the syntax and semantics of the information exchanged are understandable to all interlocutors.

The term Face-to-Face can be used for all types of conversations and topics. For personnel interviews, as well as for conversations with insurance or bank advisors, for interrogations, conversations between children and parents or superiors and subordinates.

Face-to-face communication does not require communication tools such as telephones or smartphones, nor does it involve communication networks, social networks or short message services( SMS).
