expedited flow indicator (EFI)

The Expedited Flow Indicator (EFI) is a data field in the Synchronous Data Link Control ( SDLC) that informs about the priority of the data flow. Data that have priority are marked with a "1" in bit 7. Bit 7 is "0" for normal data flow.
