The ED field indicates whether it is the first or nth data packet

in a data packet sequence. In addition, the Error Detection bit is used to determine whether a data packet is in error. The error detection bit "E" is the Least Significant Bit (LSB). The Ending Delimiter (ED) and the Starting Delimiter (SD) contain the two symbols "J" and "K". For the Ending Delimiter, the sequence is: JK1JK1(I)(E). The "I" stands for Intermediate Frame.
