The End User License Agreement (EULA) defines the licensing arrangements for the use of software by an end customer. It is a contract between the manufacturer of the software, which is the licensor, and the end customer, the licensee, which regulates the rights for the use of the software.

Such a license agreement defines, among other things,the use, transfer or copying of the software.

The end- user must confirm the license agreement before installing the software by checking a box "Agree to the license agreement", or similar. Often you will also find the terms "Accept" or "Decline". Only when the end user has accepted the license agreement and notified the software manufacturer of this by mouse click is the installation program released.

The effectiveness of the EULA agreement is only legally binding with the online confirmation, not with previous online confirmations or with the online purchase.
