electronic payment (ePayment)

E-payment stands for electronic payment and describes the execution of financial transactions via electronic media such as the Internet. One system of paperless transfer of payments is Electronic Funds Transfer( EFT). This system is used to transfer money from one bank account to another.

E-payment forms are payments in the area of e-commerce. Payments can be made by credit card or Paypal, or by micropayment, e-money such as Bitcoin, or electronic debit. A form of electronic payment that has become increasingly popular in recent years is mobile payment, in which the technical capabilities of smartphones are used for payments via online connections or WLANs. The smartphones of individual users thus become online wallets.
