electron injection layer (OLED) (EIL)

The Electron Injection Layer (EIL) is one of several layers of an OLED. The electron injection layer supports electron injection from the cathode to the organic layer. The transport of the electrons is handled by the Electron Transport Layer( ETL), which transports the electrons to the organic emission layer.
