electromagnetic interference control (EMIC)

Electromagnetic Interference Control (EMIC) deals with the design of EMC interference- proof electronic circuits. It takes EMC aspects into account when designing devices, systems and installations to avoid electromagnetic interference( EMI).

In order to guarantee the goal of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and to eliminate electromagnetic interference to a large extent, Directive 2004/108/ EC must be complied with from July 2009, which will then replace the old Directive 89/336/EEC. In the Federal Republic of Germany, the EMC Directive has been implemented in the Electromagnetic Compatibility Act(EMVG). It applies to all devices, systems, installations and networks that contain electrical or electronic components.
