electro magnetic sensitivity factor (Op-Amp) (EMSF)

Electro Magnetic Sensitivity Factor (EMSF), the electromagnetic sensitivity factor, is a comparison factor with which operational amplifiers( OpAmp) can be compared with each other in their EMC sensitivity.

The magnitude of the EMSF value is a measure of the sensitivity or insensitivity of an op amp with respect to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The larger the EMSF value, the more sensitive the amplifier circuit is to RF interference; the lower, the less sensitive.

The EMSF value is determined via a prescribed measurement setup with defined levels.
