electro magnetic sensitivity factor (EMSF)

Electro Magnetic Sensitivity Factor (EMSF), the electromagnetic sensitivity factor, is a comparison factor with which operational amplifiers

(OpAmp) can be compared with each other in their EMC sensitivity. The magnitude of the EMSF value is a measure of the sensitivity or insensitivity of an operational amplifier

withrespect to electromagnetic compatibility

(EMC). Thehigher the EMSF value, the more sensitive the amplifier circuit is to RF interference; the lower, the less sensitive.

The EMSF value is determined using a prescribed measurement setup with defined levels.
