draft proposal (DP)

A Draft Proposal(DP) is an ISO standardization document that represents a certain status in the standardization process. It is a registered and numbered document that has no final binding force.

A Draft Proposal is a draft proposal that is worked on in the various technical working groups, Working Groups( WG), Technical Committees( TC) and Sub-Committees( SC), and which may later become an ISO standard. The Draft Poposal (DP) first becomes the Committee Draft( CD), which becomes the final Committee Draft( FCD). This document becomes the Darft International Standard( DIS), which becomes the ISO standard.
