disc at once (DAO)

Disk at Once (DAO) is a writing method for CD recorders in which the compact disc (CD) is burned in one pass; all tracks in sequence. The writing process begins at lead-in, writes the data, and concludes at lead-out. With Disk at Once (DAO), no link is burned between each session. DAO is particularly interesting for making music CDs.
