directed acyclic graph (LLN) (DAG)
In Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks( RPL) used in Low Power and Lossy Networks( LLN), there are two routing strategies; Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) and Destination Oriented Directed Acyclic Graph( DODAG).
The two routing strategies differ in that the DAG strategy establishes a direct line without loops from the end node to the destination node. Whereas the DAG graph can have multiple destination nodes, the DODAG graph is pointing and has only one destination node.
