direct borohydride fuel cell (DBFC)

Direct boron hydride fuel cells (DBFC) belong to the group of alkaline fuel cells. It uses sodium borohydride or potassium borohydride as fuel and oxygen for oxidation.

The DBFC fuel cell is a low-temperature fuel cell with an operating temperature of 70 °C. The DBFC fuel cell is extremely powerful and is characterized by an energy density of 400 Wh/kg.
