diffuse prjection screen
Projection screens have different reflection behavior, which is reflected in the light distribution of the reflected light. DIN 19045 specifies the different projection surfaces .
The diffuse screen corresponds to screen type D and is characterized by the uniform reflection of light from the projection screen. The light projected onto the diffuse screen is diffusely distributed in all directions. The advantage is that diffuse screens have large projection and viewing angles. Projection and viewing can be done from different angles.
The viewing angle can be up to 80°. Diffuse screens are made of fabric or plastic and have gain factors between 1.1 and 1.3. The luminance factor indicator matrix largely corresponds to the theoretical reflection behavior.
