the DifferentialGlobal Positioning System (DGPS), the DGNSS system works with ground stations
that provide the satellite data with correction signals and send these to thenavigation devices or GPS modules. According to the procedure, an exact reference point
is determined and the received navigation data is compared with the reference point. The correction signal is calculated from the existing difference and sent to the navigation devices via the ground transmitters. The achievable accuracy of the differential procedure is higher than the position accuracy of the GPS systems by a factor of 10.
