depacketizing

Depackaging is the reformatting of a data packet by removing all parts of the packet required for transmission, such as the addressee and sender information, synchronization and data management parts and also thedelimiters, so that only the user data remains. Of course, the headers of the individual OSI layers as well as the trailer must be retained. Their removal only takes place during further processing.
