Demoware is a shareware for demonstration or testing purposes. Comparable to Expireware and Liteware.

Demoware has certain restrictions of functional kind or is only temporally limited applicable. Corresponding demoware with limited functionality is also called crippleware. Demoware can also expire after a certain date. After this date, it can no longer be used. The interested party must license the demoware as regular software.
