dedicated Token Ring (DTR)

The Dedicated Token Ring (DTR) is covered in the IEEE 802.5 (R) standardization body. The Dedicated Token Ring ensures that each Token Ring station receives the full bandwidth. The standard defines two protocols: the Transmit Immediate Access Protocol (TXI) and the Token Passing Access Protocol (TKP).
