Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) is all the costs incurred by a company during the acquisition phase for a new customer. The costs incurred are the costs of acquiring a new customer. This is the period of time until the potential prospect becomes a buyer. In the cost evaluation, all acquisition costs incurred are set in relation to the number of new customers.
