cryptographic service provider (CSP)

Cryptographic Service Provider(CSP) is an independent software module that executes cryptographic algorithms for authentication, encoding and decryption. When it is a group of Cryptographic Service Providers that use the same data formats and perform the same cryptographic functions, such as the RC4 algorithm, it is called a CSP family.
