copy (CPY)

Copy (CPY) is a command for copying files. With the Copy command, entire files or partial files can be copied from a data carrier, from a folder or document to another data carrier and into another folder. The copied file remains unchanged on the original storage location.

The Copy command is used to create backup copies and backups and is available in every operating system. It can be activated via the keyboard, the menu bar or the right mouse button.
