convergent light

In the propagation of light, a distinction is made between diffuse light, divergent

light and convergent light. With convergent light, the light rays come from different directions and concentrate in one point. Elements that collect electromagnetic waves or light rays are concave mirrors or convergent lenses. Concave mirrors are used, for example, in parabolic antennas, where they collect and concentrate the radio waves coming from different directions in the focal point.
