The target projection of content targeting is the content. Content targeting is the process of targeting online advertising. It is a simple targeting method where the web pages on which the banner ads or AdWords are to be placed are determined by selecting keywords.
Like other targeting, content targeting improves the efficiency of online advertising. Unlike content targeting, ad targe ting focuses on the banner format, so a combination of content and ad targeting can further increase effectiveness.
If a keyword has multiple meanings, then multiple keywords must be used for content targeting to avoid false product ads. For example, the keyword" compressor" is used in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering and also in audio engineering. In order for a banner ad for an audio compressor to be placed on the correct website, both keywords "compressor" and "audio" must be considered in this example.
