consultative committee for space data systems (Sat.Kom.) (CCSDS)

CCSDS is an organization set up in 1982 by well-known space agencies to develop and operate satellite data systems. CCSDS develops standards for data transmission via satellite, such as IP over Satellite, which are then adopted and standardized by the International Standards Organization( ISO).
