constant resistance variation (trimmer) (CRV)

Constant Resistance Variation(CRV) is the resistance change that a trimmer experiences with the angle of rotation of the sliding contact. With CRV rotation, the resistance value changes proportionally with the angle of rotation. Each angle value corresponds to a fixed resistance value. At one end contact, the resistance value at the sliding contact corresponds to zeroohmsresistance, and at the other end contact, it corresponds to the maximum value. The sliding contact forms a voltage divider with the two end contacts.
