connection related function (CRF)

Connection Related Function (CRF) is a traffic flow management term that refers to a reference point in the network or a network element where functions are performed over a connection. This is the point on a network where policing can occur on the Virtual Channel Connection ( VCC) or Virtual Path Connection ( VPC).
