connected line identification presentation (ISDN) (COLP)

Connected Line Identification Presentation (COLP) is a feature ofdigital communications networks. With COLP, the called party's telephone number is displayed at the calling party. This service feature can be usefully employed for the transmission of sensitive data by appropriately checking the called party's destination number before transmission.

The retransmission of the destination number can be prevented with Connected Line Identification Restriction( COLR).
