Connected Factory Exchange (CFX) is an IIoT standard from the Association Connecting Electronics Industries( IPC). The CFX standard is characterized by the fact that all topics, messages and data sets are covered by the standard and the CFX data does not need to be implemented.

This approach ensures interoperability and eliminates the need for custom interfaces for production machines.
