A Compact Source Iodide (CSI) is a special metal halide lamp used in studio technology. They are available with colour temperatures of 4,000 K and 5,500 K. CSI lamps have a narrow-band light emission, which means that they only emit wavelengths in a limited range. Their luminous flux can be well over 10,000 lumens (lm) and their colour rendering index Ra 80.
