Communities of Practice (CoP) are communities of practice. They are characterized by the fact that all participants have the same interest in a particular technical solution or business idea.
Such communities of practice exchange information intensively among each other, which leads to the fact that the exchanged information serves the improvement and further development of the general knowledge. Therefore, communities of practice serve the professional learning strategy with which existing knowledge can be captured and shared among participants. The exchange of information can take place via professional networking, social networks or personal contact and can be incorporated into the Agile Release Train
(ART), thus supporting the daily work. Communities of Practice offer a broad spectrum of expertise, experience and exchange of experiences that enable the individual employee to master the technical challenges and thus contribute to meeting the product and company goals.
