commands, controls, and communications in buildings (home cabling) (CCCB)

Three services are supportedinhome cabling according to EN 50173-4 and ISO/IEC15018: One for voice and data communications, Information and Communications Technologies( ICT), a broadcast service for radio and television, Broadcast and Communications Technologies( BCT), and the Commands, Controls, and Communications in Buildings (CCCB) is for building automation.

The CCCB service can be used to read meter data and control building services and power supply components. This service is transmitted via balanced cables with a frequency range of 100 kHz. The Tera connector, among others, can be used as the connector system.
